  1. Help on installation

The yafm program is distributed on BBS systems in archived form in a
file named YAFMxxx.ZIP where xxx represents the version of the yafm
  program.
For this version (V2.2d) the file is named YAFM22d.ZIP.

The zip file is produced using PKZip version 2.04g. The compressed
  file may contain AV codes.
In that case you should see the following PKZip message (after unzip):

      Authentic files Verified! # XME071
      MIX!

To install yafm on your hard disk you have to extract or
uncompress the file yafm22d.zip in a subdirectory on your hard
  disk.

      ͻ

When you encounter problems extracting the file or when
authenticity verification fails you have an illegal copy
of this program which may be infected!

The best way to handle this situation is to delete the
file and to obtain a new copy from a support BBS or even
better to order a registered version of this program.

A list of support BBS-es is listed in the documentation
        file.

      ͼ

When the file was extracted successfully you simply have to type
"setup" and the installation program "yafminst" will be started. From
that point you have to follow the instructions of the installation
  program.

The installation program "yafminst" can both be used to perform a
first full installation or it can be used to re-install yafm.

The installation starts up with a help screen explaining how to use
  the installation program.

During installation the program files will be copied to the selected
target directory when needed and default user definable commands will
be generated. The installation program will prompt you for
  confirmation before files are overwritten.

When the installation has finished it will let you read the following
  three files:

  o) readme.txt This file
  o) yafm.doc The documentation file
  o) regform.txt The registration form
