Overview Sound & Vision for CA-Clipper

Sound & Vision provides complete support for graphical
look-a-like Windows, sound cards and CD-ROM Drives. In
just a couple of function calls you can change the entire
look and feel of an application.
Your programs will come alive. No more simple beeps! you
can make any sound you want using a sound blaster card and
the Sound & Vision library. Sirens, chimes and verbal
commands make your programs more user friendly and responsive.
Reveille when they sign in and taps when they sign out. You
could even have a nuclear explosion if they crash the program!
You're only limited by your imagination as to how sound will
integrate into your applications. Support for Sound Blaster
and Adlib is complete, so you can record sound as well as
play it. It's possible to deliver voice messages, attach verbal
notes to a customer record or create a complete voice mail
system.

With almost no overhead, Sound & Vision gives you the option
of having a complete graphical interface on your application.
Use buttons, sliders and listbox - just like Microsoft Windows,
but much faster. Your interface can have mouse support, SAA/CUA
menus, INI file management, moveable/sizeable windows and much,
much more.

Finally Clipper programs can have access to the vast amounts
of data available on CD-ROM marketing statistics, demographics
and mapping/routing databases are a few of the thousands of
databases available to you. Sound & Vision will elevate your
programs to a new level of sophistication with almost no effort
on your part.

Sound & Vision was written entirely in assembler - just like
Blinker - so it's lightning quick and as small as possible.
It's compatible with real and protected mode CA-Clipper 5.x
and is provided only on 3.5" diskette.
