 AB    OBJECTIVES: To help the woman to discover herself customary,
       traditional, judicial and economic constraints which make her
       vulnerable. To be able the african woman to protect herself. METHOD: Use
       of an anonymous questionnaire with one hundred women. Discussing results
       in meeting organized by SWAA, female leaders of associations in presence
       of some female lawyers. RESULTS: The woman is facing many constraints
       which make her vulnerable. 35% think that they constitute their own
       obstacles because they are the guardians of customs and tradition in
       society. 50% of women think that they are not informed about laws. 90%
       think that they are vulnerable because of poverty. CONCLUSION: The
       African woman is aware of her role. But she needs to be protected by the
       law and helped by politics.
