 AB    OBJECTIVE: Japan Hospital Association has been active in the improvement
       of health services for patients with HIV/AIDS and education among health
       care providers, customers and society. Stop AIDS Campaign Committee
       (SAC) was organized in Oct. 1993 for this purpose. The activities of SAC
       will be introduced for increase awareness to call for more advice and
       support for its cause. METHOD: 1. Health services organizations' network
       and its establishment. 2. Workshop for hospital administrators,
       physicians, nurses and co-medicals was organized for the above purpose.
       3. A trade mark competition for SAC is underway. The trade mark will be
       used for the symbol mark for SAC. 4. AIDS information services network
       is planning to be organized. Collection and distribution of information
       regarding HIV/AIDS health services is distributed to network hospitals.
       5. Planning of delivery of pamphlet of SAC at Narita airport. DISCUSSION
       AND CONCLUSIONS: The SAC activities have been underway within Japan
       Hospital Association. Suggestions and support are requested.
