AB Hotline Mobile Project has been started on early June of 1994 and
continuously until today we have serious AIDS situation. Sex Education
which is one of the taboo subjects in Thai community was picked up to
discuss openly from sex & gender to AIDS & prevention. Hotline Mobile to
Schools on AIDS Education was adapted itself to the real environment.
Each team staff spend 5-7 days with the students all long days,
sometimes nights. We learn and share the experiences each other. Most
students have attitudes toward sexual behaviours as a common thing.
Without awareness and prevention to quiet disease. Female and male are
organized to separate groups and come to join in the final process.
Women status is promoted through AIDS and Sex Education. Now Condom is a
common thing for teenagers to discuss that means something effecting on
their behaviours change. We assume that this is a good point of AIDS.
This project will be continued until there is no AIDS in Thai community.
We believe that Sex Education is one of the ways to against AIDS.
