 AB    OBJECTIVES: Providing AIDS prevention education and condoms to persons
       at public places--markets, car parks, beer halls. METHOD: A Caravan
       modified and equipped with TV, Video, Generator, stocked with
       educational material appropriate Visual aids and condoms, giving time
       for questions and answers at the end of each session. RESULTS: AIDS
       awareness intensified, increase in demand for condoms and request for
       HIV testing facilities. DISCUSSIONS/CONCLUSION: Evident that AIDS
       awareness is low in general public in informal structures, evident need
       for focus group discussions and need to make information and condoms
       easily available. Need to have quick confidential testing facilities.
