Hello! How are you doing? My name is Keith and I am
going to be your guide, if you will let me. We are going to
take a journey together. On this journey, we are going to
work together in order for you to rebuild your credit. This
will enable us to lay a solid foundation on which your
portfolio and savings plan will be based. Your portfolio
and savings plan will, in turn, lead us into the third step
that is known as the American dream, your own home.

The first thing you need to do is get a copy of your credit
report from each individual bureau. There are three major
credit bureaus used by lenders. Your credit report will
cost you eight dollars unless you have been denied credit
within the last thirty days. In that case, your credit
reports are free. You should never go and get denied credit
just so you can receive free credit reports. Each time your
credit is checked and someone pulls your credit history an
inquiry is made. This will show other lenders that you
have a tendency to over extend yourself. Also, businesses
will often look at you as a sporadic buyer. This means
that you try to buy too often and accumulate too much,
too soon. You do not want a lot of inquiries listed on the
bottom of your credit report. These inquiries will stay on
your credit report for at least two years. So try not to
accumulate an over abundance of inquiries. Lenders will
look at your inquiries and pretty much know your buying
history. Unless your inquiries match your credit history,
lenders will take a good look to see all the places that have
turned you down. This causes businesses to develop an
          overall negative image of you.
