AB The resistance and durability of operating rubber gloves (PALMA) during
different types of dental treatment were investigated. Six percent of
the rubber gloves were found to be defective. One pair of gloves could
be used 2.15 times on average. The vulnerability of the gloves increased
after repeated sterilizations. The results suggest that the use of
disposable gloves should be preferred in the daily dental practice.
