AB A 26-year-old black man with acquired immune deficiency syndrome and
disseminated cryptococcosis presented with multiple small white
vesiculopustular skin lesions on the face, trunk, and upper extremities
mimicking varicella. To our knowledge, this is a novel presentation of
cutaneous cryptococcal infection. A review of the morphologic variations
seen in cutaneous Cryptococcus infections in patients with and without
acquired immune deficiency syndrome is also presented.
