Welcome to Wiper 1.0's text file!

Disclaimer: In no way am I responsible for loss of data, or damage
to your computer. I'm not saying that it will happen, but if it does
I (Jimmy Stewart) can, in no way be held responsible.

Note: Once you wipe a file with Wiper, it is not coming back.

And by the way, wiper requires vbrun300.dll, or wiper will not run at
all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wiper is a very efficient file deleting utility. It writes each character
over with a blank, a 1, and another blank, eight times over. Then it deletes
the file. You can undelete it, but it will be just a bunch of blanks.
That is why you must be very careful with this utility. If you accidently
delete a file, it's not coming back. And I can not be held responsible.

It's good for two reasons, if you are in windows, and you want to delete
a file you'd go to file manager or the Dos prompt. I found that annoying
and that it took too long. So, I made this little program. The other
reason its good is because it is very secure, if someone wants to know
what was in the file you deleted, tough luck, they can't.

I put this program in my startup window, so I can just alt-tab right to it,
and use it.

I think the interface is self explanatory. That is why I didn't include
a help file. Because of that I'll give a little run-through right now.

When you start it, it just has a small window, that says "Click me." Well,
guess what, you have to click it! When you click it, an input box comes
up and asks you for the name, in the text box, type the name of the file
in and click on OK. For safeguard, I have it say: "Are you sure you want
to delete", and then the name of the file. Then, it deletes it and takes
you back to the input box. The procedure loops itself, unless you press
cancel, or don't enter a file name. The program also tells you if the file
you entered is there or not, if not then the program goes back to the
input box. Simple enought?

Try it out.

Any problems? e-mail me at cdjn22b@aol.com.

I'd also like feed-back, so, if you want, e-mail me suggestions,
et cetera, and I'll e-mail the upgrade, personally adjusted to
            you!!!!!!!!!!!

Another thing, This is public domain, I don't want to fool around
with shareware, so their are no nag screens or anything like that!
And you should consider that a privilige!!!!, all I ask of is
     feed-back.
