The information presented here was gathered from tons of files found on
catalog shelves, conversations with dozens of RF connector manufacturers and
afficiandos, and every reference book I could get my hands on. On occasion, a
number of prestigious references didn't agree with each other. Where this has
happened, I have used the latest references. There is too much information here
for me to verify every fact personally. I have used my own judgement as to the
reliability of the sources.

I prepared the original version of this Reference in October of 1984 in order
to assist myself in doing my job as an electronic interconnect engineer.
Originally the Reference was hand written, then typed (God help us!) and finally
progressed to a CP/M computer with Wordstar. Since migrating to various PC's,
the Reference has grown like Topsy. Converted from type written text to Wordstar
and then for a time as a spreadsheet, the Reference continue to grow. I depend
on you the user and my industry contacts, to up-date the Reference as data
becomes available. Anyway, I've prepared a list of the sources I've used for the
Reference to clear up any curiosity as to where the material came from.

Tools used in preparing this Reference:

Borland's Quattro Pro for DOS Ver 1-4, Novell's Quattro Pro for DOS 5.5,
Novell's WordPerfect 6.0c and Borland's Paradox 4.5.

If you have the registered version of the UG Reference, the drawings have been
created originally in AutoCad 12 and converted to PCX files or occasionally were
scanned and converted to PCX files.

Of course Dage is no more, so its a moot point).
