TP 770/E/ED - Corrupt video is displayed when playing AVI files

Symptom:
Microsoft Video For Windows Files (AVI) display corrupt video.
Configuration:
Any ThinkPad 770/770E/ED running Windows 95/98.
Solution:
For the 770E/ED, download and install version 1.12 or later of the Video Features diskette.
For the 770, download and install the latest Indeo Codec from Intel and download and install version 1.12 or later of the Video Features diskette.
The latest version of Indeo can currently be found at http://developer.intel.com/ial/indeo/video/driver.htm. The file name is IV5PLAY.EXE.
The latest version of the Video Features diskette for Windows 98 can be downloaded by clicking here (BAD DOCLINK - DSHY-423R9L).
