TP 310E/ED,315E/ED - Chips and Technologies error on boot

SYMPTOM:
When starting Windows 95, the messege Please insert the disk labeled Chips And Technologies Windows 95 Driver Disk, and then click OK. repeatedly appears on the screen.
CONFIGURAITON:
Any ThinkPad 310E/ED or 315E/ED running Windows 95.
SOLUTION:
This messege is indicating that the video driver needs to be reinstalled. If you have not already created your audio features diskette, click here for instructions or you can download them (the link to download is provided in the instructions that follow). After creating the diskette, follow the instructions below to reinstall the driver:
If you are still at the error messege window
1.) Click on OK to continue.
2.) Insert the Display Driver diskette for Windows 95 into the diskette drive (follow this link to obtain the diskette 
).
3.) Type A:\ in the "Copy files from:" dialog box and click OK.
4.) After it has finished copying files, it will continue to boot into Windows 95. After it is complete, remove the diskette from the floppy drive.
If you have already gotten past the error messege and have booted into Windows 95
1.) Select My Computer, Control Panel, and then System.
2.) Click on the Device Manager tab.
3.) Click on the + mark for Display adapters; then double-click on (a) Standard PCI Graphics Adapter(VGA) or (b) Chips and Tech. 65550 PCI.
4.) Click on the Driver tab; then click on Update Driver.....
5.) Insert the Display Driver diskette for Windows 95 into the diskette drive (follow this link to obtain the diskette ).
6.) Click on Yes (Recommended) then click on Next.
7.) It will come up and say that it has found the following updated driver: Chips and Tech. 65550 PCI; click on Finish; insert the display driver diskette and then click on OK .
8.) Type A:\ in the "Copy files from:" dialog box and click OK.
9.) After it has finished updating the driver, remove the diskette and click on Yes to restart the computer.
